Commognitive Review: Analysis of Student Work Results in Solving Contextual Problems on Matrix Inverse Material

Soal kontekstual matematika seringkali dianggap sulit oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hasil kerja mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal kontekstual tentang invers matriks. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sampling purposive. Sebanyak 20 mahasiswa berpartisipasi di dalam penelitian, selama 30 menit menyelesaikan satu soal secara individu. Hasil kerja dikelompokkan berdasarkan kebenaran jawaban, lalu kelompok yang jawabannya salah dipilih dua subjek secara purposive dan dianalisis menggunakan kerangka kerja commognitive. Masing-masing subjek diwawancarai semi terstruktur secara mendalam untuk mengklarifikasi jawaban mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya pemahaman terkait pengetahuan sebelumnya di sekolah menengah mengakibatkan adanya kesalahan di dalam langkah penyelesaian soal(RR). Penggunaan aturan yang berbeda dengan yang seharusnya juga mengakibatkan kesalahan(NM). Pengulangan materi sangat diperlukan agar pemahaman mahasiswa terkait pengetahuan sebelumnya meningkat dan tidak mengalami kesalahan jawaban.
